WA Ink Supplies - Ink Refills Bulk Ink & Refilling Accessories

To Refill or Not to Refill - That is the Question

Well that's the question asked by a lot of us who would love to do lots of printing but feel that it is extravagant when weighing up the cost of replacement inkjet cartridges and specialty paper. Some people are happy to experiment and refill their cartridges whilst others steer away from anything that might be tricky or messy. Some are happy to use compatible cartridges but not keen to refill their own and yet others insist on using genuine brand ink cartridges only.

We cater for everybody in offering all brands of genuine inkjet cartridges including Canon, Epson, Hewlett Packard (HP), Lexmark and others. We also carry a full range of compatible ink cartridges. And for the most economical solution we have a full range of bulk ink for refilling just about any cartridge. As a rule of thumb if an inkjet cartridge has a head as an integral part of it then a compatible cartridge is usually not available with the exception of a few older HP ink cartridges. So if your printer has just ink tanks (normally Epson and newer Canon printers) then compatible cartridges are readily available. However if you have an HP inkjet printer or a Lexmark printer then generally speaking your only alternative to buying a new genuine ink cartridge is to refill your old one.

Inks Ain't Inks

Finding the right supplier

In our search for bulk ink we looked for a manufacturer that knew exactly what they were doing and understood the difference between the different inks used by the various manufacturers of inkjet printers. Some refill kits purport to suit a whole range of machines and although they may work in most cases it is not necessarily true that it is the best ink for a particular printer. Our supplier of bulk ink emphasizes superior, cutting-edge ink chemistry and production technology to deliver inks that perfectly match OEM printing specifications. The reliability of their research delivers exact compatibility. The precision of their quality control ensures batch consistency and uniformity. There is a large range of different inks available to suit just about any inkjet printer so it is important to ensure you know your printer make and model or cartridge number.

Criteria used in the analysis of ink

Surface Tension

The forces of cohesion at the surface of a liquid that encourage the tendency of a liquid to reduce its exposed surface to the minimum area. Molecules within a liquid are attracted equally from all sides, but those near the surface experience unequal attractions and are thus drawn towards the centre of the liquid mass by this net force.

Viscosity

The internal resistance to flow exhibited by a fluid.

pH

A value that expresses the degree of acidity or basicity of a solution.

Peak Absorbance Wave Length (nm)

The point at which an absorbance is measured in an absorbance curve. The measurement is usually made at the highest point in this curve and located by a wave number in nanometers (NM). The location of this peak varies from color to color.

Allowable Absorbance Range

Absorbance is usually linear to the concentration of colorant and therefore an indication of color strength. The absorbance range thus indicates the allowable color-strength tolerance from batch to batch.
